OPP credited the public for tips leading to the arrests
Bracebridge OPP say five drivers were charged with impaired driving in the first two weeks of September.
One driver was stopped late at night after weaving through town streets, another after officers noticed erratic driving on Muskoka Road 118.
A third case involved a collision with a guard rail on Golden Beach Road where the occupants tried to leave on foot.
Police also laid charges during a RIDE check in Gravenhurst, and in another case after a resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked near a laneway off Highway 11.
Officers say these charges highlight how public tips and police patrols are playing a key role in keeping impaired drivers off Muskoka roads.
