The body was found in the Torrance area
Police have identified the victim of a homicide in Torrance.
Bracebridge OPP say 25-year-old Tyler Penasse, also known as Tyler Pellerin-Penasse of West Nipissing, was found dead in a remote area near Hardy Lake Road just after noon on September 15.
A post-mortem done in Toronto two days later confirmed the case is being treated as a homicide.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the Hardy Lake, Bala, Wahta or Gravenhurst areas at the time — and who may have dashcam video — to come forward.
The OPP Crime Unit is leading the investigation.
