The fire dept. will be hosting tours as well as giving out safety tips
The fire service in Lake of Bays is opening its doors later this month. An open house is set for Saturday, September 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Port Cunnington Fire Station on Fox Point Road.
Visitors can tour the hall, check out the equipment, meet local firefighters, and get fire safety tips. It’s also a chance to learn how to become a volunteer firefighter.
Organizers say the event is a way for residents to get involved and see firsthand how the fire service helps protect the community.
