Keven Purcell was airlifted after an accident on Muskoka Rd 10
The family of Port Sydney’s Kevin Purcell says they’re overwhelmed by the support they’ve received during what they call an incredibly difficult time, following a motorcycle accident.
In a GoFundMe update, they say Kevin has been brought out of an induced coma and taken off a ventilator. He spoke for the first time on Sunday and is now out of the ICU at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.
The fundraiser has passed its $50,000 goal, with more than $61,000 raised.
The family says that generosity has helped ease some of the heavy burden they’ve been carrying.
