The driver was prohibited from driving
Police in Sundridge have charged a Scarborough man following a RIDE checkpoint on Main Street.
Officers stopped the driver Saturday evening, and say he showed signs of alcohol consumption. Further checks revealed he was criminally prohibited from driving.
A thirty-eight-year-old man faces multiple charges, including impaired operation and driving while prohibited.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in Sundridge court on January 8, 2026.
