Over 9 years, the event has raised money for Princess Margaret Cancer Centre

Five hundred cyclists rode through Muskoka on August 9 for the 9th annual Princess Margaret Northern Pass to Conquer Cancer, raising a record $1.57 million for cancer research.

The ride, powered by the Pass It Along Foundation, began at the Bracebridge Sportsplex and covered routes from 40 to 160 kilometres. Since its start, Northern Pass has raised more than $6.5 million for the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, funding earlier detection, innovative treatments, and improved care.

The 10th anniversary ride is set for 2026.
