River Mill Park and its parking lot in Huntsville are temporarily closed as crews install a new playground and upgrade park lighting, with reopening expected by the end of the week.
The Town of Huntsville is advising that River Mill Park and the adjoining parking lot are now closed as construction crews begin work on upgrades in the area.
The project includes the installation of a brand-new playground and improvements to lighting throughout the park.
The project is expected to take several days, with the goal of reopening the park and parking lot by the end of the week.
Visitors are asked to plan ahead and use alternative parking and recreation areas until the upgrades are complete.
