Police in Severn have lifted a shelter-in-place advisory after an incident involving an armed individual near Maple Valley Road and Telford Line.
The alert went out around 9:20 Thursday night, prompting residents to stay indoors while officers secured the area.
Authorities say there is no ongoing threat to the public, though a police presence may remain as the investigation continues.
