The incident took place on an OFSC trail in Kearney
The Almaguin Highlands OPP is investigating a fatal snowmobile crash in Kearney.
Police say the collision happened on Saturday at around 2 p.m. when a 51-year-old man from Whitby lost control and struck a tree on an OFSC Trail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Technical Collision Investigators are helping with the investigation. The trail was briefly closed at the intersection with OFSC D Trail but has since reopened.
