The money is part of Ontario's 2026 Infrastructure Fund
Parry Sound–Muskoka MPP Graydon Smith says more than $12.7 million dollars in new provincial funding will help renew and repair critical infrastructure across the region.
The money comes through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund for 2026. Smith says the investment is about more than roads and bridges — it’s about strengthening local communities and supporting families.
The province is committing four hundred million dollars to 423 small, rural, and northern communities next year, with higher base funding for municipalities to help tackle essential projects.
