Police are providing tips for winter driving
Bracebridge OPP responded to sixteen collisions during the first snowfall of the season, mostly on secondary roads, with no serious injuries reported.
Police are reminding drivers to prepare for winter by clearing snow from vehicles, topping up windshield washer fluid, keeping lights on, slowing down, increasing following distances, and carrying a winter survival kit.
For road conditions, visit www.511on.ca, and never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
