Work is scheduled to begin this month
Huntsville General Committee heard plans about rehabilitation work on South Waseosa Lake Road at the last meeting.
Huntsville’s Director of Operations Randy Bissonette laid out the plan: pulverizing the road, adding gravel and calcium chloride, stabilizing the base, then sealing it with a fog coat before a final surface treatment. The work is part of a District contract to keep costs down.
Crews are set to begin Monday, June 16, and the goal is a more durable surface than the failed gravel layer added this spring.
