The yearly event raises money for good causes and people can bid on one-of-a-kind art pieces
Algonquin Outfitter’s 5th Paddle Art Auction is underway, with submissions open until Friday, October 24th.
Local artists and community members can buy blank paddles and decorate them, which will be displayed around town.
The online auction runs November 3rd to 21st, with proceeds supporting the Huntsville Festival of the Arts, Huntsville Art Society, and Tom Thomson Gallery.
Participants can win prizes and be featured across local platforms, while businesses are encouraged to bid and showcase artwork in their workplaces.
So far, the event has raised nearly $105,000 for local arts and cultural programs.
