Residents in Sundridge will soon see new, accessible playground equipment at Lion’s Park thanks to a $200,000 provincial investment. The funding, provided through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation, will replace aging play structures with modern designs that support children of all ages and abilities.
Local officials say the upgrades will strengthen the waterfront park on Lake Bernard as a community gathering place that promotes active, healthy living.
Construction is expected to create a safer, more inclusive play space for residents and visitors alike.
