The two teens will be in court to answer to their charges
Two teens are facing serious charges after rocks were allegedly thrown at passing vehicles east of Bracebridge.
OPP say the first incident happened November 7 on Highway 118 near Kirst Road, when a rock struck a car’s windshield. The next day, another vehicle in the same area was hit, damaging its windshield and hood. No one was hurt, but police believe the rocks were thrown on purpose.
A 13-year-old from Chatham and a 15-year-old from Merlin have each been charged with two counts of mischief endangering life.
Their names are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, and both are due in Bracebridge court at a later date.
