The former teacher at Huntsville Highschool is now superintendent of learning
Students and staff at Trillium Lakelands District School Board will see a familiar face in a new role. Tanya Fraser has been appointed superintendent of learning after serving two years as an associate superintendent.
Fraser has more than two decades of experience in the board, starting as a special education teacher at Huntsville High School before moving into leadership roles as vice-principal and principal. She'll now oversee curriculum services for Grades 9 through 12, mental health supports across all grades, and safe schools programming.
Board officials say Fraser’s passion for learning and student success makes her a strong fit for the job. She takes on the role for the 2025-26 school year.
