The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is Tuesday, September 30th
Huntsville marked the upcoming National Day of Truth and Reconciliation next week, with a Survivors’ Flag raising at Town Hall.
The flag honours residential school Survivors, and remembers the thousands of children who never returned home.
Hope Arises Project founder Joyce Jonathan Crone led a smudge ceremony, encouraging reflection on reconciliation and community building.
