Tuesday, 22 April 2025 08:21

The driver was flagged by an automatic licence plate scanner

Two West Nipissing residents are facing multiple drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop on Highway 11 in Armour Township.

OPP say a suspended driver was flagged by an automatic licence plate scanner Thursday night.

Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested both the driver and passenger, seizing suspected cocaine, meth, Oxycodone, and drug paraphernalia — with an estimated street value of $20,000.

Andre Lavigne and Onofrio Di Pisa were both held for a bail hearing.
