Trails for Life fundraiser brings in more than $100,000 for local hospitals

This past Saturday, Port Sydney hosted the annual Trails for Life fundraiser, raising vital support for local hospital care across Muskoka.

Premier Doug Ford, MPP Graydon Smith, and Minister Jill Dunlop joined participants, connecting with the community and celebrating the event’s impact.

A highlight came when Peter Gilgan and Mattamy Homes surprised organizers with a $100,000 donation, split between the South Muskoka and Huntsville Hospital Foundations, boosting care for patients and families across the region.
