The driver turned around before being stopped by police
The Bracebridge OPP have charged a driver after reports of a wrong-way vehicle on Highway 11.
Early Sunday, officers responded to 9-1-1 calls about a pickup truck traveling north in the southbound lanes. The driver eventually turned around before being stopped by police.
47-year-old Christopher Dardarian of Etobicoke faces multiple charges, including impaired and dangerous driving, having cannabis readily available, and driving contrary to conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Bracebridge court on May 5.
