Donations will be distributed to needy families this winter
Algonquin Outfitters is bringing back its annual winter coat drive to help keep Muskoka residents warm. The store is accepting clean adult and children’s winter jackets, snow pants and snowsuits until November 30th. Anyone donating an item will receive a $25 coupon toward purchases over $100.
Donations can be dropped off at Algonquin Outfitters locations in Huntsville, Bracebridge, Oxtongue Lake and Haliburton, as well as District of Muskoka offices in Bracebridge and Gravenhurst.
The winter gear will be professionally cleaned by Fabricare Cleaning Center and distributed to people in need through The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation, Gravenhurst Against Poverty and the District of Muskoka.
