One person died in the crash that resulted in fire
Huntsville OPP are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash and fire in Port Sydney.
Emergency crews responded to Macks Road yesterday afternoon around 3:45, where firefighters worked to extinguish a vehicle that was fully engulfed in flames. Sadly, one person was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police are withholding the victim's identity out of respect for the family's privacy.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or surveillance video to contact Huntsville OPP or Crime Stoppers.
