The demolition will affect laneway access and will impact parking
A laneway in downtown Bracebridge is now closed to allow for the demolition of the former Post Office at 98 Manitoba Street, beside the Carnegie Library. Parking is also restricted in Municipal Lot 3 behind the building. The laneway from Kimberley Avenue remains open, and the closures are expected to continue until early summer 2027. Drivers can use other downtown parking, including free three-hour street parking and municipal lots offering about 500 free spaces.
