Julia Henderson received the Award of Excellence for brain injury rehab
A social worker with Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare has received a provincial award recognizing her work in brain injury rehabilitation.
Julia Henderson has been named Hospital Social Worker of the Year in the 2026 Awards of Excellence in Brain Injury Rehabilitation.
Henderson has more than 25 years of experience, including 11 years in acute care, supporting patients and families through difficult circumstances. She credited her colleagues, community partners and the families who have trusted her with their care.
