A Burlington based bus company is expanding into northern Ontario
Huntsville-based Campbell Bus Lines has been sold to Switzer-CARTY Transportation Services. The deal took effect November 3rd, bringing the family-owned company under new ownership after 76 years in business.
Campbell currently operates 57 school bus routes across Muskoka, Haliburton and the Near North, and has run Huntsville Transit since 1991.
Company president Dean Campbell says Switzer-CARTY was chosen because it shares the family's commitment to employees and the community. Switzer-CARTY says the acquisition expands its transportation operations across central and northern Ontario.
