Lake of Bays announces collection routes for Project Porchlight

The food drive will be held on December 2nd

Lake of Bays residents can help stock local food bank shelves when firefighters take part in the annual Project Porchlight food drive on December 2nd. Starting at 6 p.m., Lake of Bays Fire Rescue crews will travel designated routes collecting non-perishable food for the Lake of Bays Winter Pantry, with extra donations going to The Table Soup Kitchen.

Residents should turn on their porchlights and leave donations where they can be easily collected.

Those outside the collection areas can drop off donations at Lake of Bays fire stations 20, 30 or 40 between noon and 8 p.m.
