Cindy O'Regan was presented with the Canadian Parks & Recreation Association's highest honour
Former Bracebridge Director of Recreation Cindy O'Regan has received one of the highest honours in Canadian parks and recreation.
O'Regan was presented with the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association's Award of Merit at this week's council meeting, recognizing her decades of leadership and contributions to the profession.
During her 11 years with the Town, she helped lead projects including the Muskoka Lumber Community Centre, the Leisure Access Program, and the town's first Recreation, Parks and Trails Master Plan.
