The event will be held in Bracebridge next month
Bracebridge is gearing up to welcome a provincial sporting event next month.
The town will host the 2026 Ontario Senior and Masters Lifesaving Championships at the Bracebridge Sportsplex March 28th and 29th. Competitors of all ages will showcase rescue skills in events like manikin carries, relays and the 200-metre super lifesaver.
Organizers are also looking for volunteers to help run the event, with roles available both days. The town says it’s a great way to support the sport — and high school students can earn community service hours.
