Clarke says he is stepping aside to focus on his career as a realtor
In a statement, Huntsville Councillor Cory Clarke says he will not be seeking re-election in this fall’s municipal election. Clarke, who has represented Chaffey Ward for the past four years, says he is stepping away from politics to focus on his career as a realtor and take a break after serving on council. Huntsville Doppler reports that Clarke says he considered another council term and a possible mayoral run, but has decided to return to private life for now.
