The units will be ready for occupancy in 2028
A major housing development is moving ahead in downtown Bracebridge, with a groundbreaking ceremony marking the next step in redeveloping the former Memorial Arena site.
The project will deliver 103 rental units across 2 buildings, with occupancy expected by the end of 2028.
The District of Muskoka will operate an 82-unit building, while Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North will manage another 21 units. At least 25 per cent of the units in each building are planned to have affordable rents.
