Police were able to resolve the situation and there is no threat to public safety
OPP in Port Carling responded to a residential disturbance on Joseph Street early Sunday morning.
Around 8 a.m., the OPP, along with the Emergency Response Team, Crisis Negotiators, and Canine Unit, attended the scene. Authorities say the situation was resolved safely and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The OPP thanked local residents for their patience while officers handled the incident.
