Sabbagh says the town's rapid growth means councilors will face important decisions on the future of the town
Geordie Sabbagh is entering the race for Huntsville Town Council in the new combined Huntsville and Chaffey Ward.
Sabbagh, a volunteer firefighter, small-business owner and community volunteer, says he decided to run after encouragement from people in the community.
He says Huntsville's rapid growth means council will face important decisions about housing, healthcare, infrastructure and jobs.
His campaign will focus on affordability, economic growth and long-term planning. Sabbagh says he wants to bring a different perspective to council and make decisions with the community's future in mind.
