Georgian College is partnering with the Royal Canadian Navy to create new education, training and career opportunities in the marine sector.
The agreement will connect students with Navy careers and hands-on learning, while helping reservists and serving members access additional training and have previous education and experience recognized.
The partnership comes as the Navy works to expand its workforce by more than 3,000 personnel.
Georgian’s Centre for Marine Training and Research in Owen Sound offers programs in marine engineering, navigation and seamanship.
