Graydon Smith has secured another term in Queen’s Park, winning nearly 47% of the vote and defeating Green Party candidate Matt Richter by over 2,300 votes. Richter, speaking at Canvas Brewery, called it a difficult loss.
Smith, who will be part of Doug Ford’s third majority government, says voters want strong leadership to protect Ontario from economic uncertainty tied to the U.S. The Progressive Conservatives won 81 seats province-wide.
