The vessel will be turned into a floating science hub
A unique community project is launching in Burk’s Falls this weekend, and you’re invited to take part.
On Sunday, July 14 at 4 p.m., the Mag River Nature Hub will host an event at the Young at Heart Seniors Centre to unveil plans to repurpose a former Canadian Coast Guard vessel. The ship will be transformed into a floating hub for science education and environmental programs. In-person and virtual attendance is available, but space is limited.
