Thanks to our volunteers, staff, sponsors and listeners for your support!
We’re celebrating our 17th birthday at The Bay, and for us, it’s about a lot more than a number.
Seventeen years ago, we started as an online station with a simple idea: create a radio station that sounded like the communities we live in.
Today, more than 60 staff and volunteers give their time, talent and energy to keep The Bay going and to serve listeners across Muskoka and the Almaguin Highlands.
For those of us who have been part of this station, the memories are countless. The people we’ve met, the local stories we’ve shared, the music we’ve discovered and the moments we’ve experienced together have made The Bay what it is.
Most importantly, we’re still here because people in this community continue to listen, support us and believe in local radio.
Seventeen years in, we’re proud to call The Bay home. And we’re grateful to have you along for the ride.
