Bracebridge has received a national award recognizing its efforts to bring people together during the winter months.
The town has been named a recipient of the Municipal World WinterLife Award, highlighting events like the Festival of Lights and the Fire and Ice Festival.
The town says these events also help local businesses by bringing people downtown to shop, eat and take part in activities during the quieter winter tourism season.
