All sports parks are now closed and other amenities will follow after the first snowfall
The Town of Huntsville is reminding residents of seasonal park and trail closures as winter approaches.
All sports courts and fields are now closed. Once the first snow falls, the Hunter’s Bay Trail extension along Highway 11 will be shut, gates at Lions Lookout will close, and porta-potties and garbage cans at parks and trailheads will be removed.
Officials say the closures are part of normal winter maintenance.
