George Selkirk won five World Series and was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame
Huntsville is asking residents to weigh in on whether a baseball diamond at McCulley Robertson Park should be renamed in honour of George Selkirk.
The Town has launched a public survey, open until August 22, to gather feedback on a proposal to rename Diamond F as “Selkirk Diamond” in recognition of Selkirk’s contributions to the game.
Selkirk, a Huntsville native, won five World Series titles and was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. You can vote at myhuntsville.ca
