One driver was a visitor, while the two others were local residents
The Huntsville OPP say three drivers — including two local residents — were taken off the road last week for impaired driving.
Early on Monday, October 6, officers conducting a R.I.D.E. check on Brunel Road charged a 25-year-old Etobicoke man with impaired driving and drug possession.
Then, on Sunday, officers arrested two Huntsville residents in separate incidents — one after spotting a vehicle driving unusually slow on Highway 11, and another following reports of an erratic driver on Canal Road. Both drivers were charged with impaired operation.
All three accused were released and are scheduled to appear in Bracebridge court in November.
