The municipality says conditions have improved to safely return to normal load limits
The Town of Huntsville joins municipalites across the district lifting its seasonal half-load restrictions this Friday.
The restrictions are typically introduced each spring during the thaw period to protect vulnerable roads from damage caused by heavy vehicles while the ground is soft and more prone to deterioration.
Town officials say conditions have now improved enough to safely return to normal load limits on designated roads, meaning standard commercial vehicle weights will once again be permitted starting Friday.
