Residents in Huntsville are being asked to prepare for significant snowfall expected tomorrow. Town officials say a few simple steps can help crews clear roads safely and efficiently.
Drivers are reminded not to park overnight on town or district roads, as contractors will be removing snow from urban streets Thursday and Friday nights. Overnight parking in municipal lots is also discouraged.
Residents should keep garbage bins off road shoulders, avoid pushing snow onto public roadways, and clear snowbanks at the ends of driveways to maintain visibility. Officials say clearing a small section of the snowbank ahead of your driveway can also reduce plow buildup.
The town thanks residents for their cooperation and reminds everyone to stay safe during the storm.
