The project is designed to allow future growth in the province
Hydro One is inviting residents across central and northern Ontario to weigh in on a major new transmission project.
The utility will hold a series of community open houses from April 13 to 16 for the proposed Sudbury to Barrie transmission line, which is designed to strengthen the north-south electricity grid and support future growth in southern Ontario.
Meetings will be held in Barrie, Parry Sound, Sudbury, and in Bracebridge on April 16th at the Sportsplex, with a virtual session scheduled for April 21. Officials say feedback from residents is an important part of the early planning process.
