Some customers will see power restored this afternoon
Hydro One says crews are working to restore power as severe thunderstorms continued to move across parts of the region. Hydro One says that just over 1,000 customers are still affected by Monday’s storm.
Crews are currently assessing damage, but Hydro One warns restoration times may change once repair teams arrive and identify the full extent of the damage. The company says restoration efforts are focused first on critical infrastructure and main power lines in order to return electricity to the largest number of customers as quickly as possible.
