The municipality aims to make the park more inviting
Norway Point Park in Lake of Bays is getting a refresh based on feedback from residents. The township says upgrades are underway to make the park more inviting, including a better beach area, more seating, and improved water access—all while protecting the shoreline.
Overgrowth along the water was recently cleared to open sightlines and make the swimming area more family-friendly. The work follows the 2023 Parks Strategy and includes replanting native species and taking over regular maintenance.
The park stays open during the revitalization, with work expected to wrap up later this summer.
