Linda Boothby has announced she will run for Franklin Ward Councillor in Lake of Bays in the upcoming municipal election.
Boothby says she is seeking to bring business experience and community involvement to council, with priorities including supporting local economic development, tourism, and protecting the township’s character.
She has lived in the area for decades and has worked in municipal finance and local business, and currently serves on a regional economic development committee.
