Three area residents face multiple drug charges
A major drug bust in Burk's Falls has resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of a dangerous cocktail of illicit substances.
On Tuesday afternoon, OPP executed a search warrant at a residence on Main Street in Burk’s Falls, uncovering a stash of drugs with an estimated street value of over $35,000.
Officers from the Community Street Crime Unit and Organized Crime Bureau seized significant quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, and crystal meth, along with hundreds of Percocet tablets, LSD, and two pellet handguns.
Three individuals—52-year-old James Downs and 44-year-old Jenny-Lynn Daniels, both of Burk's Falls, and 42-year-old Katherine Blanchard of Huntsville—now face a long list of trafficking charges.
All three are scheduled to answer to these allegations in a Sundridge courtroom at a later date.
Police are urging anyone with further information on local drug activity to contact the OPP or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
