Businesses can apply for grants to improve facades and accessibility, etc
The Township of Muskoka Lakes has opened the spring application window for its Community Improvement Plan incentive program.
Local business and property owners in designated downtown areas can now apply for grants and fee rebates to improve things like façades, accessibility, shoreline structures, and even create attainable housing.
Since 2022, the program has handed out $75,000 in grants and sparked over $260,000 in private investment.
Applications are open now until May 16th.
