$5,000 is available for entrepreneurs to help start a new business
The Muskoka Small Business Centre is encouraging local entrepreneurs to apply for its Starter Company Plus program.
The initiative provides business training, mentorship and the opportunity to apply for a grant of up to $5,000. Participants will also receive one-on-one support from business advisors and take part in workshops focused on marketing, budgeting and business planning.
The program is open to entrepreneurs looking to start, expand or purchase a small business.
Applications are being accepted until July 31, with the program running from late September through December.
