The Corner Lighthouse had is official opening on Wednesday
Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce members flocked to the new Corner Lighthouse Community Hub and Food Bank yesterday for their official ribbon cutting ceremony.
Chamber members, Rotarians and members of the public toured the new facility and spoke with Lighthouse volunteers to learn about the services the new facility will provide.
Mayor Nancy Alcock congratulated the organizers for their hard work and vision, saying that it’s a much needed facility in the community.
Lighthouse General Manager, Lynne Doyle expressed thanks to Loblaws and Bullock’s Independent for providing the equipment and racking, as well as the Bay Food Crew, Trinity United, Rotarians and the many businesses that helped bring the facility to reality in a short period of time.
